However, salt does play a part in acid-forming reactions.Acid-forming reactions, also known as enzymes, are reactions that require the presence of acidic substances. Some examples of such substances are acidic amino acids, which are present in proteins and bacteria. The acid is then converted into a base by way of an enzyme called dihydrofolate reductase.The main source of dihydrogen phosphate is egg white. Unfortunately, most of the time people eat the white part of the egg and not the yolk. The reason why most people have more dihydrogen phosphate in their bodies is because of the bacteria that live in their intestines.
